Branson Missouri is an increasingly popular choice as a wedding destination. The Branson area
provides an abundance of lodging and entertainment choices to suit almost every budget.
Branson is well known for its shows, family entertainment and natural beauty.
Located in the heart of the Midwest, Branson sits on the shores of beautiful Table Rock Lake.
Table Rock Lake features over 800 miles of shoreline, tremendous fishing and some of the most
beautiful scenery in the Ozarks. Branson is best known for its family friendly environment,
attractions and shows. The most popular of these attractions are Silver Dollar City, Dixie Stampede
and the Showboat Branson Belle. Silver Dollar City is an 1880’s themed amusement park and is one of
the most visited amusement parks in the Midwest. Premiering at Silver Dollar City in 2013 is the new
Outlaw Run roller coaster – the world’s only wooden coater to twist upside down and featuring the
steepest drop of any wooden coaster in the world. Dixie Stampede is a very popular dinner show in
Branson. The show is a wild west review featuring horses, trick riders and a surprise or two, as it pits the
north against the south in the friendliest of competitions. The Showboat Branson Belle is a beautiful
paddlewheel riverboat that will conjure images of Mark Twain when you see it or hear it’s whistle.
This nostalgic riverboat takes you for a scenic tour of beautiful Table Rock Lake, in addition to serving
you a delicious lunch or dinner, and entertaining you with a spectacular variety show.
Branson features over eighty shows so there is definitely something for everyone. Our favorites
include Joseph, Six, Legends in Concert, The Shoji Tabuchi Show, and The Acrobats of China.
If a show is not for you there is still plenty to do. In Branson you can visit the Titanic Museum,
seek the thrills of a zipline, parasail over Table Rock Lake, race the go carts at the Tracks Family Fun Park
or play golf on one of the Branson areas many fine courses. With Branson’s Midwest location, family and
budget friendly environment, and variety of entertainment it is easy to see why Branson has become a
popular choice for destination weddings and family gatherings of all types.

Both must appear in person before the recorder of deeds or a deputy recorder and present valid identification containing date of birth, along with a Social Security card, to apply for a marriage license.
Fees for a marriage license and copies may vary by county.
